About Maxwell Health

Maxwell Health is a preventive technology platform designed to help employers reduce Workers’ Compensation claims. The system uses objective functional screening, physical documentation, and predictive analytics to identify injury risk early — before incidents become claims.

No. Maxwell Health is not a medical provider. We do not diagnose injuries, provide treatment, replace clinical care, or administer Workers’ Compensation claims. Maxwell is a non-diagnostic, preventive risk-intelligence platform.

The Maxwell Health Platform

A typical session includes:

  • Standardized functional screening
  • Submaximal exertion assessment
  • Grip endurance (hang) testing
  • Sit-to-stand movement testing
  • Neuromuscular response testing
  • 3D body imaging for posture and movement documentation
  • Automated data capture and analysis

All sessions are guided, automated, and completed without clinicians or appointments.

Most sessions take 10–15 minutes, depending on the assessment type.

No. Pods are self-service and designed for flexible access with minimal disruption to work schedules.

Baseline, Quarterly & Post-Injury Assessments

A baseline assessment establishes an objective snapshot of an employee’s functional condition before an injury occurs. This includes standardized functional tests and 3D body imaging.

Baseline data helps identify risk early and provides defensible documentation if a claim occurs later.

Risk changes over time due to workload, fatigue, seasonality, and recovery. Quarterly assessments allow employers to:

  • Detect escalating injury risk
  • Identify trends across job roles
  • Intervene early, before claims occur
  • Demonstrate proactive risk management to carriers and TPAs

If an injury occurs, Maxwell Health may perform a post-injury or return-to-work assessment using the same standardized framework.

These assessments:

  • Compare post-injury function to baseline
  • Support safer, more defensible return-to-work decisions
  • Reduce reinjury and secondary claim risk

They do not replace medical evaluations.

Testing & Assessments

Maxwell Health uses low-risk, standardized functional assessments, including:

  • Submaximal exertion testing
  • Grip endurance (hang) testing
  • Sit-to-stand movement testing
  • Neuromuscular response testing
  • 3D body imaging

These tests are repeatable, objective, and designed for Workers’ Comp risk prevention.

No. These are functional risk indicators, not fitness evaluations or fitness-for-duty exams.

Privacy, Fairness & Employee Protections

No. Maxwell Health is designed to be non-punitive. Results are not used to discipline employees, make employment decisions, or determine fitness for duty.

Employers receive aggregate, anonymized insights related to workforce risk trends. Individual-level results are not shared.

Yes. Maxwell Health uses secure, encrypted systems. Data is handled in accordance with strict privacy and security standards.

Claims & Fraud Prevention

Objective baseline and post-injury documentation reduce ambiguity. When functional data exists before and after an injury, it becomes easier to differentiate pre-existing conditions from workplace injuries — supporting legitimate claims while discouraging abuse.

No. Maxwell Health does not manage claims or replace carriers, TPAs, or legal counsel. We provide upstream risk intelligence and documentation that supports better outcomes.

For Employers

Maxwell Health supports both:

  • Self-insured employers benefit from reduced claim frequency, severity, and long-tail exposure.
  • Fully insured employers benefit from improved experience modification factors and premium stability.

Pods may be installed:

  • On employer campuses
  • At nearby community locations
  • At properties hosting Maxwell Health Pods

Deployment is flexible and designed to minimize operational burden.

For Property Owners

Property owners may host a Pod as a community workforce resource. Maxwell funds, installs, and operates the Pod, requiring no capital investment or maintenance from the property owner.

No. Property owners remain neutral hosts and do not receive any employer or employee information.
